He who abides in love, abides in God.
Habitat for Humanity"Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain."
~ Psalm 127
Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of consciousness and action. See their WEBSITE for more information and take a look at their latest newsletter BUILDING ON FAITH.
The following dates have volunteers signed up to work but all days are still open & in need of more volunteers (our goal is 10 – 15 each day). The work will involved installation of windows, Tyvek house wrap, and vinyl siding (depending on which day you work):
April 10th – Tuesday – 8 people (5 Centerport UM, 3 Bellport UM,)
April 13 – Friday – just 1 person so far (1 Centerport UMC)
April 14 – Saturday – 9 people (3 Centerport UM, 6 Bellport UM)
Thank you all for your ongoing donations & volunteer support of the Brentwood Rehab project.
