Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of consciousness and action. The following dates have volunteers signed up to work but all days are still open & in need of more volunteers (our goal is 10 – 15 each day). The work will involved installation of windows, Tyvek house wrap, and vinyl siding (depending on which day you work):

April 10^th – Tuesday – 8 people (5 Centerport UM, 3 Bellport UM,)

April 13 – Friday – just 1 person so far (1 Centerport UMC)

April 14 – Saturday – 9 people (3 Centerport UM, 6 Bellport UM)

The work day is from 8:45am – 3pm. All building materials, tools & safety equipment are provided by Habitat. Please contact me via email if you or any members of your church would like to participate on any of the above dates. Next week we will open up the remaining volunteer slots on Friday to walk on volunteers.
