Our Outreach support includes the following:

Food donations to local food pantry
In Friendship soup kitchen
"Adopt-a-Family" for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Host "12-step" alcohol and drug rehab groups 4 times per week
Contribute to Boys and Girls Club winter and summer clothing drives
Donate diapers for families in Homeless Houses
LI Council of Churches
Contribute to Methodist Habitat House
Support for Grace Choi in Manilla, Philippines
UMCOR disaster relief

We also support a missionary in the Philippines from whom we receive an update periodically.

2013 is about to give the baton to 2014!
The world we live continues to endorse that self-aggrandizement is the only
way for self-fulfillment. To this, we, followers of Jesus Christ, say NO! Rather,
we proclaim, “Behold, the Immanuel!” God’s self-fulfillment happens in self-
sacrifice! “Jesus made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, be-
ing made in human likeness.” (Phil 2:7)

Whatever we do, wherever we are, we are to continue to imitate Christ and show the world the way of God.
